Teaching experience
I have twenty years of experience working in state and independent schools in a variety of roles including the teaching of Science, EAL and ESOL. I also have experience of teaching and supporting SEND learners. Additionally, I have been the EAL Coordinator in a secondary school, teaching whilst managing the school's provision, as well as supporting and training teaching and support staff and external trainee teachers.
My science teaching experience covers secondary Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
My EAL/ESOL experience includes general and academic English courses, iGCSE ESL, iGCSE English Language & Literature, IB English B, IELTS, and also academic skills and support for KS3 / KS4 / IB / A(S) Levels in a variety of subjects.
I have also been Master i/c Fencing, running my school’s fencing club and coaching alongside the school’s professional coach.
